Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Mumbles is a very handsome black and white kitten with a little milk moustache on his top lip and the cutest white socks. Mumbles can be a little scared of loud bangs but is slowly getting used to them. He is very talkative when he wants a treat and is extremely interested in watching you type…. Could be an aspiring writer? Sometimes he’ll just sit on your hands so you can’t finish your work. Mumbles can be a little shy at first but with a few pats and some treats you’ll become his best friend, he will then sit happily at the bottom of your feet or on your lap but sometimes just likes to walk all over you. Mumbles loves to run around and play with whatever he can and enjoys having play fights with his sisters - he can be a bit of a climber.
