Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Pip is a gorgeous, purry, ginger tabby with a lot of love and fun to give his forever family. He is a happy, confident little kitty who loves to play and snuggle. He will follow his foster mum around the house to check what she is doing and settle onto a lap for a snooze. He loves to play with his feather on a stick, and playing chasey with his foster sisters. Pip knows when it is time for food and will be quick to remind you, if you forget. He almost walks to heel when you are holding his food bowl! He will welcome you home with meows to tell you all about his day. Being confident and social, Pip would prefer a home with a friendly, playful kitty companion. He is not yet tested around dogs. Pip will be a joyous and entertaining addition to any home, and will provide his forever family with all the love he has to give. Can you make his dream of a loving, fun home come true?
