Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Hello! If you are looking for a playful, energetic pup who is also a massive couch potato you’ve found her. Sophoe loves to chase a ball but if she finds a nice stick she is completely content to lay there and chew all day. Sophie is staghound x mastiff and embodies the best of both. Sophie will need a home with plenty of room to run around and will require a home with 6ft fences as a minimum. She loves the company of her foster siblings and her new home MUST have another dog that she can learn from. Sophie is fully crate trained and has learnt that her crate is her safe place.
