Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Hi I’m Zambo Loco and I am the sweetest and cuddliest boy you will ever meet. When I first met my foster brother and sister I was so excited I couldn’t even contain myself, I just wanted to play! It’s been so much fun having other dogs to play with. I’m really active all through the day and want to play and run and play, I love going on a car ride and to go on adventures and see new things. When it comes to night time I settle pretty late but once I have all I want to do is cuddle up with my foster mummy and daddy and follow them around until it’s time to go to bed. I’m not really allowed on the bed but my foster daddy sneaks me up and calls me his little sleeping buddy because I sleep so gently and cuddle him all night. I have 3 foster sister kitties and I’m very interested in them, if they run I really like to chase them although I’m not allowed too. Anything I’m not sure of I just stand there and stare at it until I can figure it out for my attention is needed elsewhere. I would really like to have a doggo brother or sister in my forever home and for my family to be active and take me everywhere to see and experience new things.
