Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Scooby doooby doooo I have been a lucky girl! Forever Friends picked me up and all the lovely hoomans chipped in to have my broken leg surgically fixed. I lived in the clinic till my leg healed and my foster mumma took me home! Oh my lord, did I love the freedom. Needless to say I wuvvv wuvv wuvv humans and other dogs. I am learning to leave cats alone, I love them so I feel like I need to chase them to let them know how much I love them. I want a hooman I can call my own and love to bits! I am just too excited to finally walk and run around and see the world, since I have been in a crate for a few months till my leg healed up. I am a quick learner so my hooman doesn’t have to work way too hard to train me to walk better on the lead. Would you like to give me a forever home?
