Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Rose 'Super Sweet' Large Female Amstaff Dog Rose by name Rose by nature. We called her Rose because we knew she would blossom and blossomed she certainly has. 🌸 Just look at her blissful smile! Rose is a super sweet girl with so much love to give. She loves to be wherever you are and will be your shadow. She loves her walks and is good in the car. After a long day Rose loves to curl up in her beanbag and catch some z’s. After years of neglect, Rose is still learning a lot but she has proven to be a joyful, intelligent and affectionate girl with huge heart and a wondrous zest for life. ✨ As she didn’t see many people when she was younger Rose just wants to be friends with everyone she sees. Rose likes to greet humans and dogs alike with a big hug but sadly not everyone is a fan. Rose is slowly learning how to be a bit calmer but does need more socialising. She needs all the attention so would best be suited to a home where she is the only pet. Rose hasn't met any kitties or small humans but given her size they may not want her hugs. Rose promises to give you lots of affection and love.
