Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Introducing 1 year old, handsome boy Bully. Bully is a big, boisterous boy who just loves his people, food and soaking up everything life has to offer! Bully was found as a stray in rural Victoria, and after a months in the pound and nearly meeting his maker was lucky enough to be rescued. He has spent months with his foster carers learning about the world, getting training to increase his obedience and learning how to be a good boy. He is super affectionate, and LOVES humans. He is big and excitable, and would love a family who will ensure his exercise needs are met and continue his training. He loves nothing more than a play session, followed by a couch snuggle (and maybe some snacks just in case). He will need a strong handler, and would love and owner who is looking for a companion to include in all their adventures. He is adored by his foster family, and while his interactions with other dogs are improving, he is still learning how to socialise appropriately and for this reason needs to be the only pet. Given his size he is suited to children over 12. Forever Friends will offer ongoing behavioural support to make sure Bully's progress continues in his new home. Bully's adoption fee includes microchipping, desexing and vaccination. He is located in Blairgowie with his foster family.
