Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Hi, I’m Princess. The vet tells me that I’m two years old. I had a rough childhood but my foster mom and dad have promised that I’ll soon go to a very loving home. My most favourite thing in world is getting cuddles and my beautiful brown eyes ensure that everyone that I come across cuddles me! I have lots of love to give (in exchange for pats of course!) and like going on walks. I love being around people or another dog as I like to have company. I’m very quiet inside the house and don’t bark at other dogs or strangers. I will need a home with high fences as I’m very agile and can jump quite high! I don’t want to escape but I’m very curious to see what’s out in the neighbourhood. I am housetrained and don’t dirty the house. I need a lot of training but I’m very intelligent and will learn quickly.
