Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Rupert is a fun loving little guy! He loves to play and play and play. Rupert is pretty sure he is a tiger with his beautiful stripes. Just like a tiger Rupert likes to hunt for things to play with, he loves to play with his toys or things he finds in his daily hunting expeditions around the house! A sock out of the washing basket can be so much fun and his foster mum's wool is a favourite. After a hard day at play Rupert loves to curl up on your knee for a cuddle and a nap, while purring his little heart out. Rupert currently lives in a home with other cats, dogs and rabbits
