Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Cindy is a loving girl who favours cuddles and keeping you company around the home. She’s smart and a little cheeky, and a bit of a socialite when it comes to people. She loves a big daily walk and a play around on the grass which will give you the biggest smile you’ve ever seen. She also loves a drive in the car and is an incredibly loyal and great company at home or by your side at a café. Cindy sleeps inside and likes her own space near you. Cindy loves people but when it comes to other dogs she doesn’t know her own strength. She’s a big girl, but with time and slow introductions would be better around larger dogs.
