Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Hetty is a shy girl that has lots of affection to give. She's looking for someone who would give her a little space that she will need initially to get comfortable with her surroundings and to build trust with her person. Once that trust is given, I promise you will be rewarded with head rubs, cute loud meows at meal times and silly burst of playfulness that makes you go - "Hetty, what are doing?!" She gets along well with other cats, in fact she loves them and is currently living with a dog. It takes time for her to get used to the dog but will now happily go rub herself all against her foster sister. Hetty do have a heart condition which may require ongoing care that we are happy to discuss should you be interested! Please give this sweet little girl a chance! <3
