Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Lightening is one of a pair of fast, fun loving boys. He is extremely cute and has a distinctive lightening bolt on his face. He is as fast as he is cute and he loves to run, jump and play at speed. His gymnastics skills are utterly entertaining and he loves to tumble, roll, jump and fly through the air. Lightening is a very intelligent kitty that is full of curiosity. He enjoys cuddling and fighting with his brother in equal measure. In his downtime he loves to cuddle with his human siblings and his brother. Lightening is not a fussy eater, is extremely clean and completely litter trained.
