Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Suzi is a sweet little girl with the biggest eyes you ever did see, she loves to sit quietly on your lap for extended petting sessions. Suzi also very happy playing with her toys and making her own fun. After a big afternoon of playing she will love to curl up next to you or on your lap and purr. Suzi was very, very sick with pneumonia when she was tiny and while given the all clear now (a vet is happy to discuss her case with any adopters) she does have a bit of a creaky voice as a legacy of what she has been through. Suzi is cat, dog and rabbit friendly – ready for just about any loving home!
