Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Oh Hey! My name is Alleria! I’m a sweet little girl looking for my furrever family. I love to play with anything that wiggles, dangles, rolls or flies! I’m a little bundle of energy and full of cheek. If you sit down on the couch to eat your dinner, you better watch out because I will sit down beside you and when you are not looking, I will try to steal food off you plate, but I’m not really badly behaved, I just love food. I love to sit at your feet while you are cooking and will rub up against your legs and purr. My foster mum tells me that my purr is very loud and I sometimes trill when I purr as well. When I’m all tuckered out from playing and running, I love nothing more than to climb up onto my foster mum’s lap and go to sleep. I can be a real snuggle bunny. I have lots of foster brother’s and sister’s (other kitties) but I haven’t yet met any dogo’s, so I’m not sure if I will like them. I can be a little unsure of myself sometimes but with lots of love and patience, I am getting more confident. I’m still really little so have lots to learn.
