Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Carla is a beautiful black/grey and white kitten who loves playtime. She is very cuddly! Carla likes to sleep cuddled up with you. She also absolutely loves dogs! Beautiful Carla is looking for a home where she will have a lot of company. She would be fine with an elderly retired owner whom is home a lot or a family with kids! It doesn&amp;#039;t take much to please her! She LOVES her food which has caused her to be slightly tubby, but all the more to love. As you can see in the photos, she also enjoys watching T.V, especially footy (GO CATS, meow!) Carla is located in Geelong and she&amp;#039;s currently looking for a home!
