Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

Hello, I am Blossom! I have a unique little face, big ears, and dense soft belly fur. I can be a shy little kit when you first meet me, I didn’t have the easiest start to life, so it takes a while for me to trust a person. I show my love and affection in different ways to most cats. I don’t love to be picked up but I love affection. When I am in a snuggly mood you will know! I will seek you out and say lots of tiny meows and chirps until my cheeks gets scratched, I don't care if it's the morning I want my pats! A good scratch at the base of my tail goes down a treat as well. I have a very good appetite for a small kitty and will come out of my shell for food, but I am very good at sharing with my foster sister! I love other cats and am not a huge fan of dogs. My favourite thing to do is sit on top of the cat castle and survey the house as kitty girl numero uno or sit on a windowsill and watch the world go by. I also love to play too! A mouse on a string is my favourite toy at home. I haven't met many small children, but I think they might be a bit overwhelming for me so I would like to go to a home with bigger kids who understand that I can be a bit sensitive. I have light hair and skin and need to be protected from the sun so I don’t get burnt!
