Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

He loves to play with his sister Blossom and would prefer to have a friend or his sister in his forever home.Herb will chase anything that moves but loves to chase the little cat balls with the bell in them.He is the cutest, sweetest little boy with personality plus and he loves to be involved with whatever you are doing. Herb loves a pat and has the softest fur and will turn into a purrrrr machine every time you touch him! Herb will need to be an indoor only cat or have a dedicated owner to put sunscreen on him due to his white nose and ears. Herb is cat, dog and rabbit friendly!
