Adoption Process

Thank you for submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) form for this rescue pet! The pet’s Case Manager and Foster Carer will review your EOI and then respond to you as soon as possible. If it sounds like you and the foster pet are a good match, we will arrange a no-obligation meet and greet for you. At this meeting you get the opportunity to spend some time with the animal, then we ask you to take some time to think about it afterwards and let the Case Manager know your feelings the next day. If you want to go ahead with an adoption, and FFAR think that you would make a good match, we offer a four-week trial, and the services of our behaviourist at no cost to you during that time, should you have any issues. If the adoption doesn't work out for any reason, we will take your rescue pet back for a full refund within those four weeks; we will also take your adopted animal back at any point during their lifetime lifetime should you become unable to care for them. A bit like a no-risk guarantee! We want each adoption to go swimmingly for both the adopter and animal and never want these special four-leggeds to be homeless again.

**TO BE RE-HOMED WITH TIBERIUS** Soda Pop is a gorgeous 12 year old Staffy with lots of love to give. He may be getting up there in age, but he’s still got spunk! A happy little dude, he loves a short walk and a play with his best mate Tiberius. However, as an old bloke, he also needs his rest and adores a cuddle or nap on the couch. He loves people, and will follow you around everywhere. If you’re sitting at the table, he will be parked under your seat. If you’re on the couch, so is Soda Pop. He can get grumpy with other dogs (except for his bestie Tiberius). Being an older Staffy, he has some mild skin-allergy issues and his forever family will need to keep an eye on his health to make sure he stays fit and happy. Soda Pop is such a sweet boy and, together with his mate Tiberius, would bring you so much joy and laughter.
